It would appear that we are near a price bottom in the residential real estate market. In fact the liklihood of inflation driving home prices higher in the future with accompanying higher interest rates is likely.

We have a number of summer projects at Lake Raymond on our busy schedule. These include finishing our lake rip rapping project, installing a flag pole at the Hills & Hollers common area, introducing another ultra high speed broadband ISP, repairing a stretch of white fence that heaved from freezing and thawing and always tree planting and landscaping. Welcome to the Spring website of the adjoining residential communities, Lake Raymond Estates and The Meadows at Lake Raymond. Please do not call us a housing development. The word "development" conjures up visions of 12,000 square foot lots surrounded by concrete. We are about large green rolling lots of .74 acre to 3.04 acres. We are about natural terrain and deer in the backyard with hawks resting atop our street signs. We are about preserving the beauty of nature, but taming it just a bit to make for harmonious living.

Our infrastructure is immaculately engineered to drain water without pooling in a 100 year flood. All amenities are constructed and installed to be state of the art. Our amenities include a small fish lake and a pond and lighted, asphalt walking trails on the shore of the lake and through deep woods. High speed wireless broadband internet is available. Our water source is the Bond Madison Water Company, a large regional provider, whose source of water is the American Water Company. Southwestern Electric Co-op provides our power. Our streets are maintained by the Central Township Road District. We are located in both the Greenville and Pocahontas Fire Protection Districts. We feature the Lake Raymond Home Owners' Association to administer covenants and restrictions and oversee the maintenance. Dues are $125 annually. There are currently six boards members serving the residents.

We usually have display homes available, but we are currently sold out! If you wish, you may build your own home with one of our contractors, or select your own builder. Minimum home size is 1400 sq ft with full basement required. The existing homes at Lake Raymond are sized between 1800 sq ft to 2300 sq feet. The majority have walk out basements.

We are located 5 miles southwest of Greenville, IL, a quaint, friendly, and awakening community of 7000. Greenville features very good public schools, beautiful churches, the small but acclaimed Greenville College, excellent rural airport facilities at Greenville Airport and outstanding health care resources at Greenville Regional Hospital, the pride of Bond County!

We are also located 12 miles northwest of Highland, IL, a rapidly growing and progressive community featuring retail trade and shopping opportunities.

Lake Raymond is located 38 minutes from the Gateway City, Heart of the Midwest, St. Louis, MO. Lots are now available from $20,500 to $70,000. We do not bargain.
